LIB270: Critical Use of GenAI (ONLINE) In-Person
The session will be interactive and will provide an opportunity to craft prompts in different generative AI (genAI) tools, alongside critically exploring a prompt engineering framework and alternatives to common uses of genAI. We recommend bringing a laptop to the session if you have one.
By the end of the lesson, you will be able to:
- Understand what we mean by ‘genAI’.
- Find, or know where to seek, university guidance on use of genAI.
- Engineer prompts for a variety of tasks
- Discuss the uses and limitations of genAI
- Identify alternatives to genAI
This session is open to all King's students and staff, especially those who are new to, or unfamiliar with, GenAI.
Location: Online via Microsoft Teams. Link will be sent closer to the event.
