 Lusophone artist Amadeo Carvalho.\n\nJoin us for a refreshing experience 
 that combines creative expression with self-care.\n\n\nEvent 
 Highlights:\n\n\n	Recharge your mind with a creative break from your 
 studies.\n	Explore book art as a unique and imaginative form of 
 expression.\n	Experiment with techniques combining text\, mixed media and 
 watercolour.\n	Connect with like-minded students and build a sense of 
 community.\n\n\nAll materials will be provided\, and your creations may 
 even be showcased in an exhibition at the Maughan Library (with your 
 permission).\n\nAbout the artist:\n\nAmadeo was born in Mindelo\, Cape 
 Verde\, in the year 1985. He pursued his education in visual arts and 
 design in Lisbon. Within his artistic practice\, he adeptly crafts a 
 visually captivating language\, skillfully merging drawing and painting 
 techniques by harnessing the interplay of color\, light\, and 
 shadow.\n\nHis artistic oeuvre is distinguished by a keen attention to 
 realism\, capturing and immortalizing emotions through spontaneous\, 
 precise\, and abstract brushstrokes. The vibrant hues he employs breathe 
 life into his compositions\, endowing them with a vivid
