Library Film Club presents: Shrek (2021)!

Join us for a fun-filled evening at the Maughan library as we screen the beloved animated classic, Shrek as part of Take Time Out week! This heartwarming film follows the adventures of an ogre named Shrek who embarks on a quest to reclaim his swamp from a group of fairytale creatures. Along the way, he discovers friendship, love, and the importance of self-acceptance.

Date: 9 May 2024

Time: We will set the film rolling at 16.30, the room is open from 16.15.

Location: Weston Room, Maughan Library

Whether you're a longtime fan of Shrek or new to the world of Far Far Away, this screening is sure to entertain. After the film, stick around for a lively discussion about the movie's themes, characters, and unforgettable moments as well as the future plans for the Library Film Club. 

Free snacks and refreshments will be provided! (first come, first served 👀) - and you are welcome to bring your own cold snacks in line with the library existing food policies. Just like everywhere else across our libraries, alcohol is not allowed.

Admission is free, but space is limited to 20 people, so be sure to sign up early to secure your seat.
