Library Film Club - Take some time out with Barbie (2023)! In-Person

Library Film Club presents: Barbie (2023)!

Join us for a magical cinematic experience with Barbie (2023), a vibrant, whimsical journey that reimagines the iconic doll in a world full of adventure, heart, and humor. Directed by Greta Gerwig, this film delves into Barbie's life in the fantastical world of Barbieland, where everything seems perfect. However, when Barbie begins to question her reality, she embarks on an unexpected journey to the real world, encountering new challenges, relationships, and self-discovery along the way.

With stunning visuals, witty dialogue, and a star-studded cast featuring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, Barbie is a celebration of empowerment, identity, and the complexities of modern life. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the Barbie universe, this film offers a fresh perspective on self-acceptance, friendship, and what it means to truly "be yourself."
