Hearing lots about GenAI, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot? Not sure what they are or how they might be of help to you? King’s College Hospital (PRUH and Denmark Hill) staff are welcome to join us for an introductory session exploring generative AI.

What we will cover:

• what is meant by AI and specifically Generative AI (GenAI)
• where GenAI is used in everyday life and in the NHS and provide a chance to explore some potential uses in Microsoft Copilot
• what makes a good prompt and how these can improve the effectiveness of GenAI
• risks associated using GenAI and tools to combat misinformation
•  an introduction to the ethics associated with using GenAI and good practice
• signposting to further training resources

This workshop is a gentle introduction to GenAI and does not cover the use of other kinds of AI in a clinical setting. You do not have to be taking part in the Trust Copilot pilot to attend.

Course availability

Open to Kings College Hospital staff. Places are limited and are on a first come, first served basis.

Delivery

This session will be delivered using Microsoft Teams.

You will be sent an invitation containing the link to the specific Teams meeting 24 hours prior to the meeting. If you register for the workshop after this time you will receive an invitation up to two hours before the workshop begins.
