Creative Painting Workshop
Explore identity, memory, and storytelling through colour and form in this hands-on painting workshop inspired by Lusophone cultures.
The hands-on session will be led by Lusophone artist Amadeo Carvalho.

About the artist:
Amadeo was born in Mindelo, Cape Verde, in the year 1985. He pursued his education in visual arts and design in Lisbon. Within his artistic practice, he adeptly crafts a visually captivating language, skillfully merging drawing and painting techniques by harnessing the interplay of color, light, and shadow.
His artistic oeuvre is distinguished by a keen attention to realism, capturing and immortalizing emotions through spontaneous, precise, and abstract brushstrokes. The vibrant hues he employs breathe life into his compositions, endowing them with a vivid vitality.
